 Born in Vancouver B.C., Dan has been working in soft pastel since 1975.  Gray's pastels are impressions of the moment.  He always paints from live models or 'en plein air' when painting the landscape.

 Member of The Pastel Society of Canada

Coodinator PSC2000 the first Pastel Society of Canada Exhibit in western Canada Genial host of The Grand Prix 'd Art Qualicum Beach B.C.

Dan is the current champion of the Steveston Grand Prix of Art.
